
Version 12.0 is self-calibrating. Every time the ball returns to rest on the tip a W will flash on the top right of the display if it detects a calibration difference, after a few seconds an @ will appear to indicate that it is calibrated
The probe must always be used vertically to prevent the earth's gravity from influencing the measurement.
For precision measurements it is always advisable to turn it on 10 minutes before and carry out some empty measurements. Once fully operational, the @ will appear every time the tip is straightened and laid down, see the video.
The key is used to reset to zero at any desired point.
Once pressed the DIFFERENTIAL mode is entered and the measurement is brought to zero.
from here on, the tenths and mm of deviation will be measured.
If you stay within 2 tenths of the deviation to the left, OK appears otherwise the + or - sign
