How does SpeXor work?
Place the magnetic sphere on one side of the wall and the measuring tip on the opposite side. The sphere is attracted to the tip and SpeXor reads the wall thickness.
How do I know it is calibrated?
After switching on, a flashing W means Wait. When an @ appears, SpeXor is calibrated. Let it self-calibrate before each measurement.
What is the measuring range?
SpeXor BIG: 0-20 mm, most precise from 0 to 5 mm. SpeXor ULTRA: 0-20 mm with large magnetic display and wireless measuring tip. SpeXor MINI: 0-20 mm, compact and easy to use.
Does temperature matter?
Yes. Work at room temperature. For more accuracy, take some no-load measurements on about 10 mm and wait at least 5 minutes.
Can the sphere fall?
Yes. The magnetic attraction may not be enough to hold the sphere. Always pay attention when measuring.
What is the warranty?
24 months.
